ACP Names Melanie LaCount as Communications Chief of Staff

WASHINGTON,ÌýNovemberÌý20, 2025Ìý—ÌýThe Âé¶¹´«Ã½ Association (ACP) today announced thatÌýMelanie LaCountÌýwill join the organization as ChiefÌýof StaffÌýforÌýCommunications.ÌýWith overÌýtwo decadesÌýof experience inÌýenergy policy,Ìýstrategic communications,ÌýandÌýbuilding teams that produce innovative and impactful results,ÌýLaCountÌýwillÌýsupport the association’s efforts to communicate the impact ofÌýclean energy to drive economic growth, create jobs, and strengthen communities.Ìý

While at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, LaCount helped shape national energy and environmental policy and led teams to advance environmental progress. She holds a Master of Arts in Public Policy from the University of Maryland and a Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy from Duke University. Ìý
